So who am I?
I’m a classically trained musician with a degree in Viola Performance and nearly a decade of experience performing in the Austin area.
I started out playing Viola in middle school orchestra in Lewisville, Tx. From there I attended Texas Tech University (Lubbock) and obtained a Chemical Engineering degree, followed by Baldwin Wallace Conservatory (Cleveland) where I obtained my Viola Performance degree. After moving to Austin for work as a laboratory chemist, I found the Austin Civic Orchestra and quickly joined in 2015. Since then I’ve also attended several semesters at the Austin Chamber Music Center’s Adult Academy, and it’s there I met the other extremely talented performers with whom I’d later form the Cardinal Ensemble!
I am currently the Assistant Principal Viola and President of the Board of the ACO. Music is my full-time passion, and I am committed to contributing to the Austin classical music community and passing on the skills I’ve learned to the next generation.
